Dolomite lime

Natural, powdered dolomite lime in a small package – for all of us who don't want to throw away a 20-kilo bag. Dolomite lime has a high calcium and magnesium content and is used to balance the pH of acidic clay and peat soils.

USE: Most fruit trees benefit from ½ kg of lime per square meter in connection with spring fertilization. Lime is also powdered between each layer in biodynamic compost, coniferous compost and oak leaf compost. Traditionally, lime is also used to get rid of moss in the lawn, but honestly, it is better to fertilize the affected areas with, for example, pee water. Or just embrace the fact that it is beautiful with moss.

SHADE PASTE FOR GREENHOUSES: Small greenhouses that are not shaded by nearby trees and buildings often get so hot that the plants can be damaged. A well-proven way to reduce radiation is to paint the greenhouse roof with so-called shade paste: Mix milk of milk and lime to the right consistency and paint over the outside of the greenhouse (the roof facing the sun).
