Basalt flour 2 kg

Basalt flour is a long-lasting fertilizer that enriches tired and depleted agricultural soil. It is primarily rich in potassium but also contains large amounts of magnesium, calcium, iron and silicon along with several other trace elements in lower doses. Although rock flour consists of minerals and therefore does not add organic matter to the soil, it contributes to a more airy structure with better aggregate formation. However, rock flour is not a complete fertilizer – nitrogen and phosphorus must be added to the soil in other ways.

DOSAGE: ½-1 kg per square meter of cultivated soil every four years.  

DO THIS: In order for plants to absorb the nutrients in the basalt flour, the soil must contain (or be supplied with) microorganisms. Mature compost is one option, fermented bacterial culture in a bottle, such as Rhizoferm N+, is another. Sprinkle the basalt flour on the soil, water and mulch it.
